Abstract In this study determination of thermal stress under thermal loads using analytical method and finite element methods. Disc is formed two different materials and temperature distribution is parabolic decreased from inner surface to outer surface throughout the radial section. The effect of temperature distributions. We investigated to variation of radial stress and tangential stress also radial displacement. To maked analytical study; we accepted radial stress zero to inner surface and outer surface. The tangential stress component is higher than radial stress components. The radial and tangential stress components are compared with finite element methods and analytical method that calculated radial and tangential.
