Abstract Different steel grades are used for different purposes in technology. Steel is an alloy of C end Fe. There is different alloying element end impurities apart from C Steels’ chemical composition and its microstructure gives different properties to steel. Properties of the steel can be charged according to desired properties by alloying with certain amount of elements, controlling the microstructure with different heat treatment. (Hardening, normalize etc.) In this study, stainless steel, which is used widely in technology end low carbon steel metal couple, is joined by TİG method. Today different stainless steel grades are widely used in food processing industry for different purposes. The main objective of this study is to decrease production cost and the use of stainless steel in desing, where the corrosion effect on the metal material is low.
