Abstract In our study, steady state Marangoni convection flow in a rectangular container configuration was investigated and compared by 2-dimentional Fluent Programme. The high Prandtl number fluid (silicone oil) is used in our study. The conducted silicone oil in rectangular container, the Marangoni convection flow is became by heated with a thin square wire placed along the free surface of the fluid. The isotherms streamlines at of the become Marangoni convection flow are calculated and drew under various gravity vectors. In this calculation: the become natural convection flow and Marangoni convection flow under various gravity vector were different ones under micro gravity vector. Namely, the stratification by the natural convection is actualized in the relatively small region near the heater and free surface region under the normal gravity vector.
