Abstract Deep drawing is one of the forming methods of sheet metal used frequently in industry. Products like an automobile parts, saucepans, beverage and perfume cans, tubes etc. have been manufactured via deep drawing method. For this reason, a lot of researches have been carried out to improve the deep drawing. Materials used in deep drawing can be sheet metal or blank having a hole on it and metal-wire cloth. In this study, deep drawing behaviors of blanks with in the central hole have been researched by using experimental method, which is one of the scientific investigation techniques in manufacturing. In the experiments sheet materials having four different thicknesses have been used. Ø 5 mm holes have been drilled to the central of the blanks used in the experiment and diameters of these holes have been increased 1 mm for the next experiment. The effects of these blanks with holes have been investigated experimentally on the cylindrical deep drawing. The maximum hole diameter of the sheet metal blanks, which are in different thicknesses, have been determined without being failure. Keywords: Al-1050, Blank with Hole, Deep Drawing, Sheet Forming.
