Abstract Whole body vibration exposure during a vehicle travel negatively affects driver and passengers from many perspectives primarily human health, including comfort, safety etc. The goal of this study is to evaluate at different driving speeds and driver weight changes vibrations in the passenger car and influenced the whole body vibration on driver seat. Therefore, measurements are made in a newly built highway pavement section (hot mix asphalt) for not to be affected by vibration from external factors change. The test pavement section where made acceleration measurements has roughness index about 1,2 m/km and pavement performance (pavement condition index, PCI) approximately 100. Acceleration data measured for vibration evaluation is analyzed according to the principles specified in the ISO 2631-1 standard. In the study, analysis and results are evaluated using graphics.
