Abstract In this thesis; historical development and theoretical foundations of electromagnetic compatibility and electromagnetic interference are investigated. The importance of the element boron in electromagnetic shielding applications were described. We prepared fabric based composites using boron carbide-epoxy (Tubicoat CRO) composite by hand lay-up. A test system established by minimizing electromagnetic noise designing a set of chamber room used for the measurements. In test set up, we used two chamber rooms which is isolated by boron doped composite fabric under a wide frequency region. It can be concluded from this study that the analyzed data between 1,9 and 2,9 GHz frequencies gave reliable results for electromagnetic shielding which is above 10 dB treshold, which means boron doped composites are effective as shielding structures.
