Abstract The positive effects of wines on health have gradually started to have an interest. Especially, the effects of a certain amount of wine consumption on health have been the subject of scientific studies and a lot of articles have been published on this effect. The data acquired in the studies performed by the researchers studying on the science and chemistry of wines, in addition to those in the field of medicine, have also been noticeable. In this study in order to raise the quality of wines through gene technology, a review article on the studies performed on wine yeasts and types of vines was carried on and the results were investigated, and the improvements in the quality of wines were defined.
